This is ridiculous .. people never cease to amaze me but I was a little caught off guard with this one!
Saturday I went to the Baby Time Expo with a friend. It was great, I'll have to post some pics of the great stuff I bought on another post.
There was a booth that specialized in custom crib sets (and making everything under the sun to match!). I thought I might make some progress in the bedding dept. here. Wrong.
The girl asks me what my 'theme' or color scheme is. Well since I have no 'theme' I told her yellow, pinks, black & white (black & white really only because her furniture is black and the trim in the room is white - otherwise her colors are yellow and pink). I really didn't think this was that unusual for a girl.
Her response (with an upturned nose, mind you) ... "wow ... all in the same room?" She then asked if I wanted to look through their book of samples. Here again, me not being very witty, just said 'no thanks, not anymore'.
ugh... again. I should keep a list of all the comments I get, it would probably be fun to look back on later.

People amaze me. That is a great idea though we should really all make a group effort and combine all the stupid things that people say to pregnant women.

That was so rude of her!

I think pink and yellow for a little girl's room is adorable.

My nursery colors sound like I have a lot going on too - tiffany blue, hot pink, silver, white with a little tan thrown in... but it will all come together. People can be so rude! They should really keep their opinions to themselves sometimes...

People just don't think about how things sound before they open their mouths. Oh well her big mouth lost her a potential sale. Her loss.
