Oy... this is pregnancy #3, and I thought, hey, maybe not this time...

My sciatic nerve above my right butt cheek holy cowsers. I could hardly get up off the bed tonight... lol

Here's to hoping sitting on the exercise ball helps....

Anyone else get this?

Yes! Same side too!! It sucks.

I totally have to waddle already, and I am barely showing!

Yes, I get it on the nights that I work because I'm on my feet the whole time. After I come home and sit down for a minute I can't move after that. I actually cannot stand up and walk. I've had to crawl to bed.

Oh yeah! I started getting severe pain over 2 months ago. I've been seeing a chiropractor since then because of it, but it definitely comes and goes.

And the waddling. That has DEFINITELY started!! She seems to lay on something down there that makes it very uncomfortable to walk. I'm not sure what it is, but it hurts.

I am having it on my right side also. It is so horrid. The nerve pain is just burning down the outside of my right thigh.

I have never had this problem with any of my other pregnancies. Even my twins I didn't have this problem. At first I thought it was nerves in my back acting up. It had me worried, since I had the fusion done back in September last year.

I hope you feel better!

I don't have it this time (yet) but I had it really bad with my dd. It was pretty miserable.

I don't think my discomfort qualifies as sciatica, but I do have some pain on my right hip and just below. It's worst when I get out of bed to use the bathroom. It's noticable, but not too bad during the day.

I got a pre-natal massage the other week because my sciatica was killing me! It worked really well...for about 3 days, then the pain was back. But I would recommend it for immediate relief.

I also got it for about 2 days - luckily, it went away on its own... I heard that anything that relieves pressure off your sciatica is the only way to get comfort - so basically laying down, sitting, etc. as much as possible. I wonder if Tylenol would help?

I've had it too, months earlier than with my first - and it's the same, worse after working on my feet and especially if I'm lying on my back (even propped up) for any length of time - getting up after my US was a doozie.
Strangely enough though, my docs told me it was not sciatic, but illio-sacral joint pain . Umm yeah, ok, whatever, it still hurts.
