Is anyone else experiencing this??

She cracks me up cause she'll be bouncing and kicking like crazy so I'll call DH over to feel her move and as soon as he puts his hand on my belly, she stops.

So he gets bored after waiting for a few minutes and goes away and a minute or so later she'll start up again. So he'll put his hand back and she'll stop again.

She does the same thing when I try to feel her move from the outside AND she did it last week to my friend who wanted to feel her move. I mentioned that she was going crazy kicking and she put her hand on my tummy and Madeleine stopped.

I think she's shy. Just like her momma was when I was little.

Yep, that happens to me to! What I've noticed with this one, and with my daughter is that when I talk, they stop moving. It may be your voice. Next time the baby is kicking and your DH is nearby, don't talk. Just grab his hand and place it on your stomach.

By about week..36, your dh will be like "Oh for the love of god. I've felt the baby kick a million times!" lol.

lol

Josiah was doing that for the longest time. It was aggravating because I would yell for dh to put his hand on my belly so that he could feel him moving and Josiah would stop moving every time.

But lately he's not been shy and been having a grand time kicking the heck out of dh too. lol

Yes! It happens here too and it did with DS as well. It took the longest time for DH to feel the movement with DS because every time he put his hand on my belly Ben would settle down. Now Jillian does the same thing.

hahah my little guy was doing that for weeks, like it was a game to him. Finally the past week or two its been the opposite... SO puts his hand on my belly and then he kicks like crazy. Especially if he's been still all day. He even felt him the other day while I was sleeping. I hope she starts kicking your DH soon!!

DH finally felt her again. We were sitting together on the couch and she started kicking really hard. So he put his hand on my belly real quick and felt her move a couple of times before she got shy again. hehe!!

I get emotional when he feels her. I just think it's the cutest thing!

This baby does that to my children all the time. I want the 3 and 2 year old to feel the baby move and everytime I call them to come the baby stops. I suppose I need to be more patient.
