So, after about 30 seconds of thought I realized I don't trust my 8 yr old in a room with a baby. SO, she moved back in with her brother. It's only temporary, and we only have so many rooms, so... they're outta luck. Yesterday and the day before we spent putting up the bunk beds, moving dressers and organizing their shared room.
TODAY, I got to clean out my daughter's old room. I love the girl to death, but my gosh. Here's the befores:
AFTER HOURS of sorting, throwing stuff away and swearing... here's where I'm at.
In the clean pics is the laundry I need to do tomorrow, yay me. We don't technically have a laundry "room" it's more like a laundry "closet" so they'll have to stay there till I get em clean. But I feel like I got a lot accomplished... I'm not sure if it looks that way tho! Tomorrow the crib will go up and so will the daybed (eventually the girls will share a room, so I figured I'd put the daybed up now, that way its done and also I'll have a place to crash on those wide awake nights... )
