Hello Everyone,
My name is Nette. I am 24 weeks pregnant today! The past 3 days I have had what I assume to be braxton hicks contractions. I never noticed these with my other 2 children or don't remember them this often at least. Is it normal to have them so often with a 3rd pregnancy? I am thinking of calling my Dr. in the AM just to make sure, but wondering if anyone else has had b/h often.

have a great day

& congratulations on your pregnancy. I hope you join us!

I never felt braxton hicks with my first pregnancy but I'm already feeling them this time. I've heard it's pretty common to feel them more after you've already gone through previous pregnancies. I have found if I drink a bunch of water and lay down for a little bit they go away.

Nette-
I'm due the same day!
I haven't had any b/h yet, though I did around this time with my first.
I have had period-like cramping, but the water and rest recipe has worked well for those.
Good luck!

first off, welcome!

I have been having BHs since I was about 14 weeks. I dont' worry so much unless they get painful.. and when that happens I be sure to drink water and put my feet up to make sure they go away.

This is baby #7 and I have started with BHs early each time since baby #3.
