i want to go to my regular Gyno, ( i didnt right away cos i owed him money) But with where im going now i dont know who will be delivering Genevieve. With him ill at least know its him unless it happens when he's not on call or not available, but ill still have an idea who it will be.
I mean im sure i can request a certain midwive, but i dont know her name. LOL. I think im going to go today and pay my debt to him and see about getting an appointment, \thought it probably wont be for a while
I wouldn't say its too late... but some practices may say no... you started there you are over half way stay where you are?
A thought on who delivers... I go where there are 8 docs... I don't know how will be there when I have the baby, and honestly I don't care, it seems the doctor only shows up to check the baby anyway, its the L&D nurses that are there with you that you get to know better IMHO
It's not too late. I agree with doing what makes you feel comfortable. I switched DRs with my DD only because I was a highrisk pregnancy after 18 weeks. I didn't care for the OB I had anyway and took my mom's advice and switched to her's. I had such a rough delivery with DD that I honestly think if I had went with the original OB I wouldn't be pregnant again today. My OB of choice honestly saved my life. He wasn't on call the night I went into labor but he came in on a Sun. from golfing to deliver DD!
