Have any of you guys used a jogging stroller travel system (jogging stroller with car seat)? We were thinking of buying a standard travel system and then picking up a jogging stroller as well. But I just found out there is jogging stroller travel systems which would omit the need of having the regular travel system. I'm a little leary though because I cant find too much info or reviews on them. Anyone have experience good or bad?
Pretty much the only travel systems you can get here in Australia are with a 3 wheel/jogging stroller. Mine is a Steelcraft, which I believe is Britax. I love it. I much prefer the way the 3 wheelers handle. I also like that they are softer tyres which makes the ride for baby smoother.
I looked everywhere in the states for a jogging/infant travel system and they don't seem to exist - unless you order a Chariot system(which is actually just a jogging stroller with accessories for a newborn - no carseat) with the infant sling but those run for about $600 plus. The reason for this is I was told the jogging motion isn't safe for infants that can't control their neck muscles. That is why most jogging strollers are for 6 mos and up in the states.
Good luck and let me know if you are able to find one....
Also, make sure the jogging stroller has a BIG wheel on the front....

The Babytrend Expedition is a jogging travel system. It did get some negative reviews about the front wheel being funky, but I'd go to the store and try it out before anyways. That's the only one I've seen. I saw it in Target and its also on the BabiesRus website.
