Good luck today! The way you eat really has no effect on the test. You either have GD or you don't. I've known people who ate very healthy and still had it. It's one of those things that you can have whether you're skinny or overweight, eat well or don't.
Good Luck! Honestly there is no need to spend the next two days worrying about the results. There is nothing you can do to prevent GD anyway and it is manageable- so really its the best complication you can get Keep your chin up!
If you're not diabetic, you could eat a huge bowl of icecream right before the test and you'd still pass, if you are, you could eat nothing and fail, so it has zero to do with what you eat.
hehe.. That's funny that you mentioned ice cream.. I can eat ice cream without it affecting my blood sugars and I'm only on insulin at night for my fasting blood sugars, but I can't eat white bread!! Go figure.. lol
When I took the test when I was pregnant with my first, I "technically" passed, but I was borderline.. But my OB Dr. treated me as if I had GD and in the end he was right..
Well the orange stuff wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Thanks for all the reassurance, I had no idea that the test isn't based off of what you eat but your hormones. Makes sense though. I will get the results on Wed morning when I go for my regular check up so I will let you all know then how it turned out.
