I'm sorry that you are in so much pain. I have been having sciatica pain as well, but not as bad as your's sounds. I thought that my leg was going to give out the other night at work. I hope that you are able to find some relief soon. I know that the heating pad helps me a lot. Maybe you could try stretching your back, that's what my dr suggested.
I'd ask your Dr what else you can do for the sciatic pain. Maybe they could send you for some physical therapy or to a chiropractor for some relief.
Teething definitely sucks. How old is he? Try giving him a popsicle to munch on. You may just have to hold it for him. It should give him a bit of relief or at least make him forget the pain because the popsicle tastes good. The Popsicle brand makes really tiny ones that are called Mini Melts. They are perfect for little ones.
I asked my doc what to do about my sciatica pain and she said use counterpressure on it...which doesn't help me at all! Let me know what your doc says about it...it's so bad sometimes, I can't walk or sit down on the floor, I have to lay on my side on the couch for some relief...kmp!
