I called the doctor earlier this afternoon because I had what was like a globby yellowey very gooey ((SORRY TMI)) discharge that came out. I went in and was told I had lost part of my mucous plug and that I am a fingertip dliated. Shes weighing in at about 2lbs2oz right now, and I had a steroid shot in the butt, which hopefully will help strengthen her lungs. So despite everything I've gone through so far this pregnancy to PREVENT going on bedrest, the time has finally come. Ive moved from "limited activity" to bedrest. Needless to say I'll be a laptop/tv addict for the next 10 weeks or whenever this baby decides to make her appearance. Im really upset. I almost feel like a failure Not trying to throw a pity party for myself its just depressing. I know the end result is MORE than worth it, but I went through this with my son and I did NOT want to do it again. Well anyways...I'll be around more I guess, theres not much else to do especially in the middle of summer If anyone wants to chat off the computer or anything PM me and I'll give you my number. Thanks for letting me whine!

I'm sorry doll. I can't imagine that bed rest would be a very fun thing. We'll just have to try extra hard to keep you entertained on JM. Oooh, oddee.com is a great waste of time too. It's filled with absurd lists, I spent a week on there when I had bronchitis.

Try not to stress too much! I know mucus plugs CAN grow back (mine did, I lost part of it twice with Holden), I hope yours does and baby stays put!

Oh NO! Hopefully the bed rest keeps everything the same. Don't feel like a failure, it's nothing you've done to cause it!

Oh sweetie you aren't a failure in the least bit. This isn't your fault. Sometimes it's just happens. I know it sucks and I'm sorry you have to go through it.

Try to look at it as a nice time to rest before being back to the times of being woken every hour by a crying baby and being so exhausted you can hardly remember your own name or if you took a shower that day!

I'm sorry you have to go through this again. Please don't get down on yourself about it though, it is in no way your fault and you are not a failure because of it.

That's too bad! You did everything you could though. I hope the next few weeks aren't too boring and we're always here to vent to if you need to!
