I had a good appointment on Monday. The baby heart beat was good and strong. My BP was normal but I did put on 5lbs since my last visit. Oops, I think I got a little carried away 4th of July weekend. The doctor wants me to try and stay about the same weight since I and my husband were such big babies. I was around 10lbs and he was around 13lbs.
I thought things were great then I got a call from the doctor today telling me I need to schedule a 3 hour glucose test ASAP. I go in Thursday morning at 9:00 and hope I pass.
Grats on the good appointment! I gained 5 pounds since my last visit as well, I guess I need to stop eating so much lol. How can you stop eating all the time though when you're hungry every couple of hours?
I'm sorry you failed the glucose test, but hopefully you will pass the 3-hour one! Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Good luck!
I've also gained 5 lbs since my last appointment - if not a little more! Sorry to hear that you didn't pass - but I read that only 1 in 3 women who take the 3 hour test actually have GD. Think positive! And KUP!
Good luck on the 3-hour test. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you and all the other girls who need to do it, including myself (on Monday). Except mine is only a 2-hour test. Not sure of the difference.

Good luck with your 3 hour test.. I pray that you pass..
Oh, if by chance you don't pass the test.. Controlling your blood sugars may help you have a small baby.. My sister never had the gestational diabetes and she had big babies and I had gestational diabetes and I had the small baby.. Go figure.. lol
