I went to the doctor this morning because I've been having a lot of contractions in the past week. He checked my cervix and it's soft and short, but not dilated yet. I'm a little concerned because I dealt with preterm labor last time. I feel like it's starting again and earlier this time.

My BP was up a little. 140 something over 84. I'm already on meds, but I think it's starting to go up despite meds.

I go back in 4 weeks unless my contractions pick up.

It didn't want to post on my end, so I just moved on, and then the post appeared.

I've been having a couple hours worth of consistent contractions almost everyday in the past week. My doctor is probably concerned because last time things happened really fast, and I almost had the twins at 32 weeks.

Well twins usually do come early. Was that your only baby you had preterm labor with, besdies this one? Take it easy and drink that water. Keep your eye on the contractions. I hope they ease up for you.

Eesh! My doctor was asking me about contractions yesterday but I've only gotten them like twice so far so it was no big deal... hopefully your baby will decide to cook a bit longer.. all these babies wanting to come so early!

I hope the contractions stop. I wonder if maybe your BP just went up because you were upset about the contractions.

Kick your feet up and try to relax. Hopefully things will settle down for you and the baby will stay put until closer to your due date. I will have you and Halleigh in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks everyone.

I have only dealt with preterm labor with the twins so I didn't expect to have any issues this time. My earliest single baby was 37 weeks and I hope Halleigh stays atleast that long.
