We went camping over the fourth. The first night it poured cats and dogs all night so half of the sleeping bag was soaked but the half housing me and the baby was dry.
Each night was in the low 50's but the last night it dropped to the low 40's (we were in northern pennsylvania). I just dressed the baby in a warm sleeper and wrapped him in a thermal then a fleece to go to bed, and then he slept in the sleeping bag with me. We were quite toasty and warm...baby did wonderful. And boy did he love the rain!
We went a few weeks ago. Rogen did great. He slept half the night in his pack n play (our tent is huge!) and the other half the night with me. He loves being outside, so he really enjoyed camping! We're going again next weekend
We left Ohio on the 22nd of June and went to VA to Busch Gardens with DH and his nephews and niece for 7 days then we drove to Sandusky OH, to visit Cedar Point theme park for 5 days and stayed in my BIL's camper. We had such a great time and the baby did wonderful. He slept most of the drive. He's like his Mommy, put him in a car and he goes to sleep! We will actually be going camping in our camper here in a few weeks so it should be interesting!
I'm terrified to go camping with Will! Something about not having access to running water just freaks me out. I've never been much of a camping person, I wish I could get more into it because Will really likes being outside. I guess for now he'll have to be content with a picnic on the front lawn!
we have really been wanting to but sara does not do well with heat she breaks out bad and quick so were waitin for the temps to stay a little lower before we go .we took the kids to fall creek falls a couple of weeks ago for the day and me and her sat in the truck most of the day so she could be under the air.
No, no camping for us...neither me or DH are the camping kind We go "camping" every October to cabins in Indiana...but it has running water, toilets, showers, coffee makers, microwaves, fridge We like to have access to those kinds of things
We went over the 4th too, the weather could have been a little warmer and other than pooing through 3 outfits it went pretty well. I felt like I worked and was super busy all weekend, not very relaxing for mama.
