Ugh, I have to go to the dentist this afternoon. I broke part of my tooth when I first got pregnant and now it's infected. I didn't think I could go to the dentist for something like that while pregnant, but after researching it last night I realized I was wrong.
My jaw is swollen and I'm in serious pain(tylenol doesn't make it go away). I'm nervous about going.

I totally feel your pain. I had the same thing happen in May and the pain was unbearable. They'll probably give you a round of antibiotics first to get rid of the infection. They can also give you something stronger for the pain that won't be harmful for the baby. After the infection is gone they'll do the work they need to do.
I'm having the tooth surgically removed tomorrow morning. The doctor gave me antibiotics for the infection. I have Vicodin for the pain thankfully. I don't like taking it but it hurts terribly if I don't.
