I had my 2-hour glucose test this morning, and after the first hour I started to feel the same as the 1-hour test: dizzy, sweaty, naseous..etc. So I went to lie on the bed-chairs with a wet cloth and felt better. The tech said that alot of peoples bodies react that way to the "sugar rush".
Now I just gotta hold my breath and wait to hear the results (well, hopefully not hear...they said if they don't call it was good).
Good luck to all the other Monday testers today too!!
Forever missing our angel November 9, 2010, with us for 9 weeks
I hate that when they say "no news is good news". My doc said he would call Friday if I failed by three hour. Well he didn't call so hopefully I passed. But I have a friend who also goes to this doc and she took her test on Thursday, like me, and got the call Monday. So I am not assuming I am in the clear until my appointment this Friday. I'm sure if it was bad they would have called but who knows if they were busy or something
Make sure to KUP.
Thanks to auntieof3 for the wonderfull and beautifull siggy!!
I hope you get news that you passed! I felt the same way you did at my one hour...dizzy, nauseated, and just yucky. I almost needed to lay down. They said the same thing about the "sugar rush"...and I passed. Hopefully you get the same news! KUP
