They are doing maintainance on the building alarm system today and so every 1 min the alarm goes off for anywhere from 2 to 10 secs. AHHHH I'm going insane......if Autumn was already born and trying to sleep I might be on the verge of attacking someone. In the meantime we are leaving the house for a while hopefully it will stop by the time we come home.

So since our little ones can hear now do you think this is driving Autumn as crazy as its driving me? Or is it more muffled and distant? I hope its more distant cuz I really don't want to ruin her hearing before shes even born...yet another reason to leave the house.

PS this is a multi day process!!!

Oh that would annoy the crap out of me too! If the baby can hear it I'm sure it's very muffled and distant. I would imagine what they hear sounds like what we hear when we're under water.

Oh no, that would be ridiculously annoying! Not sure, but I don't think it would damage her hearing at all though.

Ooooh, I would be SO mad!

I'm sure it's not as annoying for baby as it is for you, but geesh. I wish they would speed it up so you don't have to keep hearing it!

Okay I've been home for 30 min now and haven't heard anything hopefully they are done for the day. DH said even though the notice says it will be the entire week it's prob just cuz they do one building a day or something so it takes the whole week to do them all. I hope so I don't want to go through that again tomorrow.
