You might think this should be a cut and dried issue! AF or no AF? Grr. So I started spotting on Wednesday, so I make sure I have a tampon with me and go about my business. It did pick up just a bit--most of it was the brown spotting, but there was a bit of the red spotting (sorry, TMI). Well, by yesterday (Friday) the tampon was totally white. Weird. I kept waiting for the onslaught that never appeared.

What was your experience with your first AF after having your wee one (if you've had one)?

Honestly mine was pretty much just the same--I could have written this post if I didn't know better! I actually *think* I had one in April, but I didn't count it because I just couldn't commit to deciding if it really was one or not....but the following month I had one that was more substantial, then had like a 40 day cycle and then it's started to regulate between June and July. Hopefully yours will follow suit! Never can tell with us PCOS gals tho! Good luck!

not too long ago I had a day of light brown spotting, thought it would turn into something but never did. Then about a week, maybe 2?? after that I had signs of ovulation, so I used my Ovulation Scope, and sure enough, a heavy ferning pattern. Now it's just wait and see if I get AF after that.

I haven't had one this time around, yet- but, my past ones were extremely heavy. I know when I had my first one after I had Ethan I called the dr's office to see if it was normal or not-- that's how bad I was bleeding. But, everyone's different- so, I don't know what the norm is.... I'm interested in what everyone else's experience has been.

Mine was about the same...very light with spotting then it went away. Then came back a day later! lol

I have had two since Ethan was born and they both started with some spotting for a couple days and then it got a bit heavier... but the one I just had was just like one day of bleeding and then it was gone. I don't know what is normal anymore, lol.

I had spotting around the time that I ovulated I'm certain, because about 12 days later AF was knocking on my door! I hope she stays away for you Courtney.

I have had fairly regular cycles/AF, but last time I did spot a few days before, then had a day or two of nothing, and then the regular AF.

After giving birth, abnormal is pretty normal.
I'd say it was AF, but perhaps a non-ovulatory cycle
