As limited as possible. It has sooooo much sugar and sooooo much sodium it's insane. I try not to keep soda in our house because of the sodium especially as that is apparently a contributor to kidney stones and I do NOT want those again. They also make me feel really weighed down and heavy when I drink them if that makes any sense....

That being said I drink off of my husband's when we go out and he gets one and I don't think parents should be hypocrits... I don't think I can tell a kid they aren't allowed to have soda when the kid sees us drinking it. I am trying to get Joel to drink less soda too though... He loves it way too much...

I'm against it depending on the ingredients. Most of the mainstream stuff, NO WAY. There is so much crap in there!!! I won't even drink it myself unless I'm absolutely desperate for something to drink and that's the only thing available.

Natural stuff that is caffeine free, no problem. Not that I stock that in the house anyway. I prefer fruit juices & water over pop any day.

I know I'm rather the odd one out here and sure maybe it won't kill us but it's not good for us either so I don't see the point in consuming it.

DH still drinks it though. At least I've got him on some healthier stuff.

Anna has had soda. My older kids didnt taste soda until they were school aged and when they did I diluted it half with water. They are 14 and 12 now and drink soda maybe once a week or less.

My husband is a mountain dew addict and he thinks its hilarious to give Anna a drink of mountain dew. I know it's not going to kill her but I'm really anti soda for young children. We go back and forth about it. I want her to have no soda whatsoever so now that he is not around, she hasn't had any since he's been gone.

I can't stand to see a baby with soda in the bottle. I just really find that disgusting. A sip here and there, whatever, but I'd never put it in a bottle or a sippy cup. Anyway, sorry if I came off strong. I feel a bit strongly about this one.

I am against it.
I would rather give my children juiceboxes for an occasional treat. They can have water anytime they want and milk with meals if they wish.

We won't be giving Carter or Lena soda for a long time! I totally agree w/ Rebecca on seeing a baby with soda in their bottle....that makes me sick.

I feel it is unnecessary for anytime in the next couple of years for sure....I want Naina to develop a taste for water. We give her juice dilted with three parts water to one part juice every once in a while....and we make sure the juice has no sugar.

Soemthing I never drink is soda. Since I fell pregnant my drink of choice is water. I am trying to get Kirsty to drink water but she just will not drink from anything except my boobs!!

I have tried adding a little juice to water for her but still she wont drink from a cup or bottle. I wont be giving any soda though. If giving her diluted juice encourages fluid drinking then I'll do that. (she's having poop issues so I'm trying so so hard to get her drinking )
