I can't tell what I'm looking at in that picture! Not sure what angle it was in cause I can't see other recognizable parts to orient where it's at. KWIM?

I'm not an expert at u/s at all but to me it looks like the feet to the left of the picture and the abdomen in the center with the cord (or maybe an arm) raised in the background and the head on the right side of the picture with his face kind of turned away from the picture and the arrow is pointing to his face. I don't see how that picture shows gender at all. That said maybe the tech saw the gender clearly but baby moved (or the tech accidentally moved the wand thingy) when she actually pressed the button and took the still shot so what was a gender shot became a pic of baby but not showing gender. If I were you I'd take the picture to your next doctor appointment and ask your doctor to explain to you which part is which in that picture. Or maybe someone on this board has some training at how to read u/s photos and can enlighten us.

Yeah, I think I see a foot and leg to the left of the picture too. The only thing is my Dr.'s office didn't do the u/s. I had to go to a specialist place since I'm over 35. I guess it wouldn't hurt to bring the picture into my next appt. to see what my doc thinks. heck, maybe she'll give me a quick peek to confirm gender.

well.... I studied the pic and studied the pic, and I just can't make out any parts that would make me convinced that its a boy or a girl!! Obviously its one or the other....LOL...but I would ask for another u/s to confirm because that's just not a clear indication IMO. I hope you can get your doctor to take a quick peek as you said!

I can't tell much on it either... I would definately be taking it to my OB and seeing what they can do... To me its a lousy u/s pic for determining gender...
I honestly think they don't even have the arrow pointing to the right part and I think SnowMami has the anatomy points figured out muchmuch better....
