I had a 2nd degree tear. We waited til like 10 weeks PP though. It didn't hurt at all...just a slight weird feeling for abotu 10 seconds then it was perfectly normal after that.
It can't hurt to tell your doc... it could also just be being overtired and hormones. But it still never hurts to mention it.
There's no estrogen in your body (or very little) if you're breastfeeding. My CNM said that causes a dryness and even if you do lubricate well, it's thinner and there's less protection from friction. We've been using KY and even though its icky sex doesn't hurt anymore (it did at first and I had a c/s too)

I tore 2nd degree as well and the thing I learned is to us KY , because you are so dry that the rubbing irritates the area. But it never hurts to talk to your Dr. about things
well ladies, i have a dr appointment in the morning..i think i had a mental break down this morning. Tyler didnt sleep a wink, he wanted to scream..i mean, sometimes he is content in his swing, but last night nothing made him happy. my husband (god help him) doesnt have the patience to handle the baby..at 7am my mother got up, saw me bowling on the couch holding a screaming baby. i told her im worried im not being a good enough mommy, all i want to do is cry. i have to go back to work monday, and most mothers stuggle b/c they dont want to leave their baby, well, i have that, and im struggling b/c i get NO sleep.
