Well my doctor hit me hard today. From now on I'll be going to the dr 2x a week and having lab work done once a week. They will be inducing me but not until 39 weeks. Oh and I must stay on strict bedrest and a nurse will be coming to my house everyday to check my blood pressure. He basically told me I have 2 choices. I either stay on bedrest at home and hope my Bp stays down or they will hopsitalize me until my induction. My blood pressure went back up. Today it was in the 170's on one arm and 150's on the other. I hate this.
Oh geeze shocking that your BP was up. Yet, you didn't need BP meds and should stop them. IDIOTS!
Why won't he induce until 39 weeks? That's just crazy!! 37 weeks is full term and Pre-E is dangerous for you and baby, so why play with fire? I wish I was closer, I swear I'd go with you and give your Dr a piece of my mind! Ask to see his diploma and then look closely to see if it has the cracker jacks logo anywhere on it.
Hang in there, hopefully baby will decide to come SOON!
You sound like my mom. Thats exactly what she said. I know I'm gonna end up in the hospital because I can't stay in bed. I have a 6 year old to take care of. Who else is going to get her ready for school and make her lunch and dinner and get on and off the bus? My husband works. I don't think they get that.
Too late for a new doctor. And I live in Pennsylvania which has the highest rate of malpractice lawsuits. So they came up with some sort of special law or something like that to help protect doctors. All I know is that if something happens to me or my baby they pay through their noses.
