So I thought I would update with my birth story. On Friday night the 2nd I started to feel a few contractions and around one they got regular and I started timing them and around 10am headed to the hospital and they monitored me for awhile and they were consistently 6 min apart but I was still only 2cm. The doctor came in and told me I could stay or go home, so I decided to go home and the doctor said to try and get some sleep. I got back home at around 2pm and went to sleep for a few hours and the contrations teetered off so Tim and I went on a walk for about a mile and still nothing. Then at around 10pm they started again I went to sleep. I would walk up every 10-20min with contractions that were getting stronger and I started to get frustrated so we went back in around 1am. They checked me and I was still only at 2cm so the doc asked me to walk for an hour we did that and they checked me again and I was 5cm and they felt the bag of water. At around 7am the doc came and said that I was 4am and broke my water. I walked around the majority of the labor and Tim would hold me during contractions. The contractions were manageable and at around 12:30-1:00pm I was at 10cm. I waited a little bit and started to push. After about 2-2 ½ hours of pushing the contractions were teetering off again they were only regular went I was walking so they had to start pitocin so I would have something to push to and then the real pain started. I pushed for about an hour with that trying on my side, on my back and with the bar but my back and lower abdomen was in so much pain I couldn’t stand it and ended throwing up during pushing. I ended up with the bed all the way up leaning over the back of it and couldn’t push any more I was too exhausted and in too much pain. The doctor offered me an epidural and as much as I wanted no drugs I said yes, so after pushing for at least 3hrs and already at 10cm got an epidural. Once that was in the pain was instantly gone and I could still move my legs though. I slept for an hour and a half after that and then they woke me up to start pushing again, then after about 30-40min of pushing she came out. She had the cord wrapped around her neck twice and wrapped all around her body is what Tim said. She also came out sideways face looking left instead of down but they put here on my chest and let her nurse and I had her for about a half hour before they took her to weigh and clean her up. I was surprised I had almost no tearing and at how big she was.
So she was 9lbs, 20 ½ inches long and came at 6:09pm on October 4th.

It's funny our babies are the exact same length and only an ounce different in size. lol
It is funny she went to the doc yesterday and they mismeasured her she is 22 1/4inches
And I am very happy they did not push me into a c-section and and epideral at that point is something they almost never do but the doc was confident I could do it if I was able to calm down and get some rest
It is funny how fast you fall in love with them
