Mine is scheduled for the 21st. Hopefully I'll be in labor before then ( I want to try a VBAC).
The only thing that I can think of is this: Tell them that you DO NOT want your arms strapped to the table in the opertating room. This IS possible! That's all
It depends on the hospital if they will allow you to go arms unstrapped. My hospital does NOT, it's hospital policy.
I have mine scheduled. I'm going to be put under instead of the standard spinal, because of a bad experience with my last spinal. I'm super nervous too.
Yeah, I was induced at 39 weeks because of pre-e and after 18+ hours of labor and a fibroid tumor blocking any progress, I had a c-section.
VBAC isn't an option in my town at all (I would have to travel at least an hour to a hospital/doctor that did them) so a c-section it is for me.. oh well.. at least I don't have to labor this time, lol.
A daughter is the happy memories of the past, the joyful moments of the
present, and the hope and promise of the future.
