are you close to your hospital? i'd call the doc and tell them you think your leaking and if the hospital isn't too far and someone can watch Matthew go in and get checked. Someone also suggested changing your underwear and putting on a dry pad, laying down for 30 minutes and then go to the bathroom and see if your pad is full. She said it collects in the vagina while you lay down so when you get up the pad should be pretty wet. KUP!

Sounds like it might be your water. Is it soaking your underwear or less?

Sounds like your water has a little leak in it at least. Maybe it will break more soon. KUP!

If it's a constant trickle I would probably call them and/or go in. I know what a pain in the butt it is when it's far away (my hospital with dd was an hour away) and when you have another little one to worry about. Is there anyone who could come over to your house while Matthew slept so you wouldn't have to wake him up?

On the phone with them make sure they know how far away you are and you don't want to make the trip if they don't feel it's necessary. KUP

I'm not yet a 1st time mom so can't at all speak from experience -- but I'd probably call the doctor. The 'books' talk about how water breaking can be a trickle as well as a gush. He/she may be able to comfort you...or if you do need to go into the hospital - it's better than worrying. Please keep us updated!

well this morning i was reading that its "more often a trickle than a gush" so can you call? i mean the fact that its consistent and youve tried laying down etc a call would be a really good idea i think. good luck!

Lurking...

I know this sounds gross, but put the panties you leaked on into a ziplock bag to take with you. If they are unable to detect fluid during an exam, they can test those.

Towards the end of my pregnancy I had a slow on and off leak. Of course at L&D it had stopped and started once I was back home.

Good luck!
