I'm 40w 4d now - after 3 weeks at 80%+ effacement and 1cm dilated. Trying all the old wives' tales, no reaction at all to DTD last night...thinking we should do it multiple times if just to relieve stress! Will be induced if nothing by 41w 5d.

Curious how late any of you have gone? I know the avg is 38-42weeks, but I just can't picture being in this state a whole nother week!

My water broke at 39 weeks 6 days with DD and I was induced at 41 weeks with DS...I have a midwife who will let me go to 42 weeks(only because it's the rules of the birth center, if I was having a homebirth she would let me go longer)this time but hopefully it won't take that long

40 weeks 6 days for me and i was 80% effaced, 1cm for 3 weeks, too. I know how you feel about thinking about being pregnant for a week longer... kinda unfathomable. I hope your little guy comes soon!
