It went very well. His bili count is down to 10 (from a high of 16) so as of yesterday he's off the bili blanket and doing well. He's still a little yellow but not nearly as bad as he was.
He was 9lbs 1oz at birth and 8lbs 5oz last Wednesday when we left the hospital. Today he was 9lbs2oz!
I can keep nursing him on demand and I no longer have to wake him up at night to nurse if he doesn't wake up.
So glad he's doing so well. He's going to start growing like a weed now!
And some pics:
Here he is on the bili blanket at night
hmm, my computer didnt want to post my post. ill write it again sounds like a good appointment to me, you must be so happy that his jaundice is going away, and olivia is just precious. i think my little ones are going to want to kiss the baby too. im glad your having such luck with her. and wow what a big boy he is turnign out to be! i think your right and hes going to start growing like a weed now i love the pictures theyu are adorable!
Oh he's so cute! I'm glad to hear he's doing well and off the bili blanket. You said he highest level was 16 right? When my DS was born he got up to 18 and the hospital never did anything about it. I think that is what ended up causing him not to gain any weight (he was too sleepy to eat enough) and then ended up ruining our BF relationship.
