I had a vaginal delivery and I feel great! Honestly I have to remind myself that I just had a baby! I still have some lingering spd pain - but now it's only when I try to lie down in bed - otherwise I feel like I could run a marathon. Such a different experience from how I felt the first time.
I gained 34 pounds and have lost 25 so far. I am extremely pleased with this. I didn't lose any of my baby weight with dd until she was eating solids regularly so this has been a very pleasant surprise.
Maybe it's just a c/section thing but pooping is impossible!! With my first c/section I cried when trying to poop the first time. With my 2nd they gave me stool softeners and they worked well and I actually pooped before leaving the hosptial. This time, I left before 48 hours, so I only had 2 stool softeners and OMG... I feel like I'm going to die because I have to poop but can't. I seriously sat on the toilet for an hour today and well... got no where.
It's been 11 days since Miles entered the world.
The birth went very well other then a 2nd degree tear which seems to be healing well.
Sleep doesn't come easy any more, but the joy the baby brings seems to make up for it.
I had a vag delivery and feeling great "down there" - will probably start exercising a little soon. I'm about 10 pounds over my pre-pregnancy weight... can't fit back into my old jeans yet, but hopefully soon!
I hear ya about pooping - with my 2nd degree tear, I was so scared to 'push' out the poop - so I would sit there forever waiting for it to just 'come out'. hahahah Sorry if TMI!
at the poop. I was so afraid after to, but it ended up working out. Glad you feel better Paula!
I had a vag birth 18 days ago and feel awesome. I think my stitches have been gone since about monday and things look much, much better than I'd expected (pretty normal). Now I just can't believe I have almost 4 more weeks until working out or DTD... I seriously just want to get back into being active and such, but I don't want to be "that girl" who shows up at her 6week prego or something .
Don't know about my weight yet, we dont have a scale.. I'm very curious!
How are you doing, feeling, etc?
Not feeling too bad. Tired.. and my crotch is still sore, but it's NOTHING compared to my last delivery where I cried myself to sleep every night because it hurt so bad.
What about baby weight?
I've lost somewhere between 25-30 lbs so far.. and still have 10-15 left to go. NONE of my pants fit. Not a single pair. I had to buy fat pants i'm usually a size 4, and had to buy a size 8. not pleased about that.
I don't even think it's the excess weight.. it's how wide my HIPS are, and who knows how long those will take to go back to normal
I had the worst bathroom experience ever after my c-section. When I finally went I cried, it was so awful. I'm taking the softners still, and Benefiber daily. My doctor says it will help, and I have noticed an improvement.
My doctor said at my appointment this week that my incision looks as good as it could. He's happy with my progress.
I gained 31 pounds while pregnant. I've lost 32 pounds so far.
How are you doing, feeling, etc? I'm feeling ok, much better than I did with my first considering that time I went through a lot of labor and then a c-section. This time I just had the c-section and seem to have recovered a lot quicker.
Those that had a c/section, how's your incision? How are you feeling, etc.. I stopped taking pain meds earlier this week, so about 10 days after my c-section. My incision looks good I guess, but it's really been itchy today and it hurt a little tonight. I think I attempted to do too much today...
What about baby weight? I'm not sure what my weight it but I can wear some of my prepregnancy pants. Depends on the style, sometimes they rub wrong on my incision. Mostly just wearing sweatpants and jammies around home.
P.S. I totally know what you mean about pooping. Not quite as bad this time as the first time. I got right on those stool softeners this time! Like I have time to sit and wait to poop!!!!
