Here is what the sling looks like.

It looks so uncomfortable but the doctor said it doesn't hurt him.

Aww poor baby that does look uncomfortable. I must have missed something somehow. Why does he have to wear it? How long will he be in it?

I think she said it was hip dysplasia.
And ditto, wouldn't be comfortable if it was me, but babies are so flexible.

Why's he in the sling? I hope he's ok! I agree it doesn't look comfy but if you remember how they were hugging their own butts in our bellies, I bet that doesn't bother him a bit! lol

Aww. My friend's 2 month old has the same thing. It was pretty crazy over the summer in super heat it didn't even seem to bother him. It's amazing how they adjust. Are they expecting a full recovery? I hope for the best for him!

oh wow 12 week stotal. it must feel like an eternity watching him sit in that. im sorry. i now it always stinks watching your child go through anything even when it doesnt seem to bother them. its just part of being a mommy i think it hurts us more most of the time. i hope he will make a full recovery and not have any problems later in life.

they expect him to have more than a 90% chance of a full recovery.

No the doctor said it doesn't cause him any pain.
