I don't plan to do any redecorating in his room, for years to come (that's my plan at least). The only thing I anticipate changing is when it comes time to convert his crib to toddler bed, then to a full size bed.

I think the decor I did in his room- airplane theme, although not dramatic; neutral colors, and furniture he can grow with, will fit in his room for the next 18 years at least. If he wants to change the style later on, then that's another thing.

Well, we moved across country over the summer, and we are (hopefully) moving into our first house this summer, so Douglas really hasn't had a proper nursery/room yet. There was really no point in decorating apartment rooms, IMO. As for his real big boy bedroom...I have no idea. Probably very simple; we're pretty low-key when it comes to interior decorating!

I don't plan on changing Avery's room until we move from this house. It's cute, and I love it. We also didn't do anything "babyish" So I could easily see a child of any age with her room.

I might change her mint green walls to pink when she moves out of her crib. I think it will be hard to find a cute toddler set with mint and chocolate colors. She has one contrast wall in chocolate brown wall.

We will get her a toddler bed and dresser ( in white) when baby #3 comes along 2 years from now. The crib and dresser will go to the baby.

When he gets one! He's been in with us the whole time so he just has Sam's old stuff. If he gets a room of his own this next time, we'll decorate with Sam's old stuff until he's ready for a twin bed and then we'll get new stuff.
