What milestone is your baby doing that most impresses you right now?
What are you surprised they're still not doing, or took a while to do?

I don't know if it is really a milestone but I am so happy Jack finally cut his first tooth! I was really afraid he was going to turn 1 toothless
I am surprised (and slightly concerned) that he is not using hand gestures at all. He does not wave or clap yet, and he absolutely refuses to sign back to me

i'm most impressed that he's army crawling. it took him 10 months, and now he's all over the place!
i'm shocked that he can't figure out how to sit up from laying down.

walking
Nothing really. He's definately ahead of the curve, as he is also waving, clapping, and playing peek a boo. He also has a few words with uh-oh being his new favorite.

Walking. Andrew didn't walk till 14 months.
What are you surprised they're still not doing, or took a while to do?
She took awhile learning to drink from a sippy cup.

The amount of "talking", playing peek-a-boo, waving, etc.
I am surprised and concerned he isn't crawling yet! He has the army crawl down pat and he gets on up his knees and rocks but he doesn't officially crawl yet.

Chase surprises me by mimicking several words I say, knowing the meaning and regularly saying "hi", "bye", "mama", "cat" and "I did it". Also by pointing to things in the books I read him
I am shocked that he isn't really cruising...he just doesn't seem into it

Maddox is so close to walking, I just can't believe it! He walks great with his walkers and a is a pro at cruising! He stands without holding onto anything for lengths at a time until something else catches his eye and he will then plop down and start crawling! I just can't believe my 9.5 month old little boy is almost walking!
He STILL isn't STTN. This is one milestone he is in no hurry to reach, yet I am!

Hayden has been surprising us by talking up a storm lately! He says "uh-oh" at the appropriate times, Hi, cup, and "ah-dat?" while pointing to various objects.(what's that)
The only thing I can think of that slightly disappoints me is that he isn't clapping. He waves if he isn't being shy.

hmm...Howquick he can mimic faces I make (only when he wants to lol) He figured out how to smack his lips together and it is the cutest thing ever lol
I'm surprised hes not walking yet. He lost interest he looks like he is gunna try to take a step but then he just falls on his butt idk its weird. and hes not really "talking" he went thru a period of saying "mamamamama" but he stoped all of a sudden. he doesn't do the dada and baba, baba occansionally

That she can see things and call them bay name. Like when she sees a dog she calls them Do-Do. One of our dogs names is Scrappy Do and we call him Do-Do. So every dog is Do-Do. She also sees a duck and will say duck. She calls Dh Dada all the time and when she sees my mom she says nana. She knows a brush is a brush and will say it and then try to brush her hair. She can point out eyes and say ezzs. She knows and say a few other things too.
I can't believe she isn't walking yet?!?!? She took a few steps almost a month ago and nothing since then. She walks along stuff and will walk between Josh and I (if she is in the mood) but that's it. No real walking.

Clara started signing to me ~ 1 week ago. I basically had to force her into it (kicking the tray does not get food, but signing more does, the end!), and now she signs like crazy. Once he starts he'll want to know them all RIGHT.NOW I bet! I started doing them to her when she was ~4 months old, so we've been working on it FOREVER.

I'm glad Clara isn't the only "uh-oh"er. Everything is uh-oh. and has been for at least a month now.
i'm sort of surprised she still only has two teeth, but DH and I both got teeth late...not TEN months though!
I'm impressed at the amount of words she knows and how quickly she picks stuff up

I have to add...
Jackson STILL doesn't have any teeth and he's over 10 months old and I'm very surprised by that LOL! I think he's going to go off to college with no teeth!

Well then at least you won't have to worry about dental bills.
What milestone is your baby doing that most impresses you right now?
Saying "Momma" with *maybe* meaning...I think... He's only saying it when he's right near me...
What are you surprised they're still not doing, or took a while to do?
Pfft...there's a lot...Douglas isn't doing a lot of things that other babies are doing. I guess I'm most surprised that he's not able to get to sitting independently. He's just kind of skipping that - he pulls up (when I put him into sitting position), he crawls, he's even taken some steps with his walker, but he just can't figure out how to go from lying down to sitting still.

I'm impressed that Kendal can cruise and walk with her walker. She also can say 3 words. The cutest thing is when she waves when I or someone says hi or bye, and claps when I say "yay". The pedi said she is ahead with all of her milestones so I'm a pretty proud momma.
I'm surprised she doesn't like or want to use her sippy. She can drink from it laying down.

Im surprised that Avery is starting to walk, she has taken up to 7 steps.
She also doesnt clap or wave. She clapped a few times a month or so ago, and now nothing.

Sticking his tongue out at his older sisters, it's hysterical
I'm really not concerned about anything he's not doing yet, each baby develops at their own rate
