I found out what was prolonging my bleeding...a few nights ago (maybe a week ago???) I was getting all my kids to bed when my pad felt a little weird so I was gonna check it when I got a second but I ended up laying down with Cole and falling asleep til like 4:30am, I got up to go to the bathroom because I realized it still felt all weird, like maybe all bunched up or something, I sit down and nothing is on my pad and nothing is wrong with it but it felt like something was like stuck in my va-jay-jay so I took some TP and wiped, actually more like grabbed, a chunk of placenta the size of a golf ball! It kinda freaked me out at first but the bleeding has since stopped, I feel better and I think I've been losing weight finally, well atleast my stomach is getting flatter anyway. So yeah, that was my 4 o'clock in the morning a week or so ago, fun eh?

I am glad you finally got it out of you.

I am surprised your OB didn't check for it and your 6 week appointment.

Omg, that's actually scary!! It should have NO WAY still been in there. I'm really surprised your Dr didn't check that.

Eeek. So glad it came out and the bleeding stopped! It makes me mad that the doctor didn't find it earlier so you wouldn't have had to deal with the bleeding as long as you did.

yikes! well i'm glad it's out and the bleeding has stopped. The day after I had Cohen (or maybe it was the same day, I'm not sure) I passed a clot that was the size of a golf ball and freaked me out. I sat on the toilet and made the nurse come look lol.

I'm glad it came out and your bleeding stopped. If your bleeding returns heavy I would go to the doctor asap.
