how long does baby sleep at night before waking for anything, to eat, confort, play?
I have read about some of your LO's sleeping like 10hrs. Elise goes between 7 and 9 hrs between 7 and 8 most nights, she goes down between 9 and 10 and wakes between 5:30 and 6:30 most days.
I am SO jealous! Claire's current pattern is 8p-12:30 or 1a, then up every 3ish hours with some extra wakings thrown in there some nights for her nuk or to be reswaddled. She had a short span of time where she slept 8p-3 or 4a, ate, then back down until 7 or 7:30a...I miss that
Oh, and last night she woke every 5-10 minutes between 1a and 4a. So exhausted!
Bella usually goes to bed between 8:30 - 9:00 and sleeps until around 7:30. She's been doing it for a little over a month now, so I am considering myself extremely lucky....Except for Thursday nights...I guess she doesn't like me watching Grey's Anatomy, because she wouldn't go to bed until almost 10! - LOL.
I wonder if this playroom's sleep habits are typical? My dr has tried to assure me our baby's normal. (Sorry I've been MIA for a month - too much going on to even be online unfort.)
Owen falls asleep around 8pm and (usually) sleeps 4-5 hours, then another 3-4 hours, then another 2-3. 11-12 hrs total but with at least 2 wakes to eat. And sometimes another 2-5 wakes for re-swaddling or comfort or more eating. Tonight he was exhausted and I put him to bed early (aka nursed to bed) at 7:30 but he woke up at 8 for more food.

I am sure it is, the doc always says every baby is diffrent so this playroom might just have an abnormal amount of good sleepers
I have Xander in bed between 6:45-7 p.m. every night and he typically sleeps the entire night, waking up between 5:30-7 a.m. Occasionally he'll wake up around 1-2 a.m., but I think he gets woken up by our stupid neighbors dog that barks ALL night long when they leave it outside on the weekend (they leave town, so they leave their dog outside - real nice when it's 7 degrees out).
When I used to put him to bed later, at 8-9 p.m., he would wake up several times a night and wake up early. I finally got fed up and bought a book on sleeping, only to learn that I needed to be putting him to bed earlier in order for him to sleep longer and wake up later. It actually worked! Just a thought, for those having sleep issues...
