This topic was on Good Morning America today.. Check out the video..

Little Girls in High Heels: Moderation Is Key - ABC News

What's your opinion on this?

Just the other day I saw wedge sandals for toddlers at target.. When I saw them, I said there's no way my daughter could walk in those, she'd twist her ankle.. But I personally would not buy my daughter any kind of high heeled shoes or even wedges.. She can use mine for dress up, but that's it.. Makes me wonder what kind of damage high heeled shoes for toddlers can do to a growing foot...

I can't watch the video (only b/c I'm at work) but I always see pictures of Katie Holmes/Tom Cruise's daughter in heels and she's only 3!

I'm all about fashion and LOVE heels - but it can't be good for the development of their feet!!

So I personally won't be following that trend. There are some really cute flats for toddlers.

I personally don't wear heels because they hurt my feet (and I'm tall enough as is). My daughter won't be wearing heels until she's grown or almost grown. Even if I was for it I can guarantee dh wouldn't be.

She'll have plenty of time to wear them when she's a lot older. To each their own but it seems that so many of these trends are designed to make little kids grow up way before they're ready.

Send a message via Yahoo to natty
I would let her wear some for play dress up at home for a little bit but not to wear as a normal shoe to go out in

I think it's ridiculous. I think the soft silly ones are cute, meant for babies that aren't walking or even crawling yet, but for a child to actually wear them and walk on them.. awful!

Might as well buy them a thong pamper and No More Tears mascara!
