Is anyone's baby not sitting up? william just won't do it, I mean I get a good minute out of him. The dr said it was ok, but I feel as if it isn't ok.

Not here either. 4 months is really early to be sitting on their own.

Elise does it for a little bit 30-40 sec but she likes to be up so we practice and I put the boppy behind her and let her fall back into it

Here and there- but it's TOTALLY normal not to be!
Holden didn't sit up on his own until he was crawling, and he didn't crawl until he was something like 9 months old. Frustrating, yes, but normal! He was always behind on the physical stuff because he was SO big He didn't even walk until 13 months.
he's perfect now

they all do things at different times! it's hard not to get discouraged when you hear about other babies doing things yours isn't.. just gotta try to relax about it all. Easier said than done I know

Same here. We put him in a highchair at a cafe, but we surrounded him with blankets to keep him up. Even then he only tolerated that for a few minutes.

Not even close.

I agree with the statement that they "shouldn't be" sitting up just yet. If they are, then bravo, they are early, but if they aren't, they are not even supposed to just yet.

My older DD didn't sit up until around five and a half months.
