finally clearing up.. Yay! I can't tell you how great it is to feel is soft skin again.. He is still on a steroid ointment (Desonide), we will start to taper off the ointment next week.. I'm praying there's no more flare up..
A.J on Friday:
He still scratches his face and head, but not as often as he use to be.. But he's such a happy baby now..
Thanks for letting me celebrate.. I just feel so relieved right now..

I think it was me that suggested the Cetaphil.. Cetaphil was a life saver for my daughter when she had eczema.. With A.J Vanicream worked wonders.. That's my new favorite cream, next to Cetaphil.
A.J was alot worse the Adriana's.. I had to go see a Dermatologist to get him normal again. At his last appointment he had 2 doctors looking at him.. They rarely see it that bad in babies.. He still itches and still has to wear gloves on his hands.. But I hope in the next week or so he won't need them anymore..
It was horrible, especially his cradle cap.. When he first started going to daycare, they called Infection Control because his head was weeping or leaking clear yellow fluid.. They've never seen that before and I had to get a note from the Peds saying it wasn't contagious.. And last week, the teachers called me begging to give him some Benadryl because he just wouldn't stop crying and he kept digging at his head and face.. Luckily, I was able to get into the Dermatologist the next day.. Usually it takes a month to get in..
They prescribed Urea cream for his head, but when I used it the second time, it seemed to burn his poor head.. I called the Dermatologist and they suggested mixing the Urea and Cetaphil together in a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio.. Then I decided to try just Cetaphil alone, but apply it every 2-3 hours.. Doing just Cetaphil almost cleared it up.. The weeping has stopped and there's just a few dry spots..
It's been a rough month for us.. What's funny is my daughter loves to wears socks on her hands, just like her little brother.. lol
Thanks for listening to me rant.. It feels good to talk to someone about this..
