OK, I don't know what they are called, but does anyone have one of those "baby slingshot" (LOL) things that hang in a doorway that the baby jumps up and down in?

If so, do you like it and would you recommend it? I saw one in BRU, and thought about buying it, but I'm not too sure - does anyone still use those things? I actually thought they stopped making them years ago. Also, what age/weight can you use them up to?

And just what the heck are they called anyway?? LOL

The jumperoo is different, IMO. It bounces the doorway jumper JUMPED. lol Kayla and Emily use to get that thing going INSANELY! lol They both LOVED it! Abby has the jumperoo and the doorway jumper. They are fine as long as you tugged and make sure it's snug. I could hang off mine and it wouldn't budge.

We were at BRU and saw one and bought it for DS#1.. brought it home and realized all of our doorway boarders were way too narrow for it to be safe to hang it from.. so we just gave it away to DH's cousin last week. My nieces and nephews had one and they loved it.. DS#1 also went in theirs once and loved it.

We have the jumperoo too. Cohen liked it, didn't love it. Abe seems to be the same way.

Their called Jolly Jumpers here I think. You can also get stand for them to hang from so its not in the door frame.

We have one of the ones on the stands...and Danica LOVES it!!

The mat underneath is something that plays music/animal sounds when you jump on it...don't really recommend that though...it's more distracting than anything (and super annoying!)

I have a Johnny Jump Up (the one that hangs in the doorway) and the jumparoo. I was mad when I realized I couldn't use my johnny jump up because I don't have the doorways that you need for them. I mean I do in my bedroom and my kids but I wanted them in the kitchen and dining room. Oh well! He loves his jumparoo thing so much. I would feel completely safe using the one from the doorways. I could actually send you mine if you want it? I'm not using it at all it just sents in storage. PM me if you want it.

We have a Johnny Jump Up. My 3 year old loved it! I want to say the weight limit is around 20 pounds.
