Here are some covers that i finished sewing. I actually have 5 or 6 more covers to sew up. But that will have to wait until i get some more suedecloth.

First her night time covers, made with windpro fleece outer and suedecloth inner. There 6 of them.

Next day time Pul covers. They all have suedecloth inner too.

Very cute!

You'd be a good person to ask. I have some Nubunz diapers. I haven't used them yet because they were to big for her. They fit now so I want to start using them. I haven't done anything to them. What do I need to do before I use them? I know I have to wash them but what should I use and how should I dry them?

My Nubunz I just washed once before I used them. Washed them in hot, extra rinse in cold then in the dryer on hot. I washed the inserts once too again on hot, extra rinse on cold and dry on hot. I use Tide but that can be a controversial detergent for cd's. It works for some mamas and not others.

Now I hang dry every other time since I bought the batch of "seconds" and want to try to keep them nicer longer...

Now that they get soiled my wash routine is cold rinse...warm or hot wash...another cold rinse and then into the dryer I've stripped them once and will probably strip with dawn again here in 2 weeks. I want to try to strip every 2 months.

Good luck!

i'm using tide free right now on detergents. And yes i guess some babies have reacted to the tide, so far no reactions from catie. I've also used All free and clear with no problems on our diapers.

Oh you have Nubunz too? I was thinking about trying some of the seconds. Have you had any problems?

Can I use All Free and Clear on them?
