when you check your stings each month is it okay for the string length to be different sometimes?

You know i had that thing for three years and i could never find my strings.

The midwife at my last appt said the strings move up and Down all the time bc ur cervix does.

I love my mirena but my DH hates it. He says the string stabs him in the wiener and hurts. He says that's why we don't DTD anymore-- it's always "in his head", so to speak.

I was thinking they would change because the cervix changes- but I wasnt sure and i have looked all over the mirena website and havent found anything. So i'm guessing its normal.

Try different positions. Some positions dh can feel it others he cant.
