Have you tried giving your babies yogurt yet? I've introduced several fruits and veggies (probably 4-5 of each now) and chicken, and DS hasn't shown any sensitivity to anything and will eat anything I give him. I'm thinking of giving him some Stonyfield Yo Baby Yogurt. I know babies can't have cows milk until they turn 1, but yogurt and cheese can be earlier. Is it TOO early? Anyone tried it yet?

I thought about asking the doctor this morning but she's a family doctor and not a pediatrician, and she tends to be a bit conservative, and I know she doesn't have kids of her own so sometimes her answers are a bit... "textbook" for me.

I've been giving Ava DannoNino (sp?) yogurt now for about 2 weeks, and she loves it!!! She hasn't had any negative reaction to it. If you're unsure though, definitely ask the doctor.

Claire eats SO Delicious soy yogurt and LOVES it! So if you're worried you could give him that. But I have since decided to try cottage cheese after reading some information Katie posted about yogurt and cheese being OK after 6 months.

Livy loves her organic soy yogurt. I will prob. get the yo baby yogurt next time I go out, DD1 always loved that! I wanted to pick up some little containers of cottage cheese too. Right now (kinda on topic) her fav thing is egg yolk (no whites till 1) that I cook and crumble for her. She grabs at it like crazy and shuffles it in!

edited: oops, mean shoves it in! lol

Excellent, thanks! If he eats all his dinner (sweet potatoes and chicken, followed by a green beans, peas and squash mixture) I'll give him some yogurt and maybe mix in some blueberry. I bet he'll love it!

I get Addie the yobaby yogurt by Stoneyfield! I've also bought the Gerber yogurt. She loves them both!! I just make sure that whatever flavor I give her, she's already had that baby food so I know there won't be a reaction. So far she's had apple, banana, and blueberry yogurts.

I let him try the vanilla yogurt after he ate his veggies and meat, and he LOVED it!!! I hope he doesn't have any problem with the dairy, because I think this will become his new breakfast food!

We are a non-dairy house and we are just starting very few solids for Devan. One of which is soy yogurt. He loves it!! If you find that Patrick has tummy issues with the dairy, or it causes constipation, you can always try giving him soy yogurt.
