Of course you wouldn't guess it by the way he's playing in his Jeep n smiling. I think he's happy b/c I just suctioned out a bunch of boogers. Right now he's trying to figure out how to reach the handle to open up the door to the birds' room. LOL! He's already grabbing cabinet handles so it's now time for locks. I do have a question regarding his cold. Should I skip solids until he is feeling better and just give him formula?

Poor Billy. Hope he feels better soon. Solids, I would play it by ear. If he drops the amount of formula then skip the solids for sure.

If he seems to be handling the solids okay then I would continue to give them to him. If he has any tummy trouble or isn't taking enough from the bottle I'd drop them for now or at least cut back on them.

Hope he feels better soon!

Thanks for the advice. I gave him some squash and he handled it well. Can you believe he actually laughed when I suctioned out more boogers? Most babies cry and mine actually laughs...silly monkey!

Aww, I hope he feels better soon! Abby HATES the booger sucker!! Ditto the solid, replies. If he's handling them well, then keep on giving them to him.

Oh, I was just asking about the solids because formula contains more vitamins than the solids. It was just one of those 1st time mommy questions.

Name??? - I use the Little Tummy's Gas Drops. I tend to try things to see how they taste for baby and they weren't bad!

I hope he feels better soon. If he wants to eat the solids then keep on giving it to him.

That is funny how he laughs when you suction his nose. It must tickle or something.
