Any one else doing any Spring Cleaning? We have been trying to be brutal about getting things out of the house.

I gave away a ton of baby stuff...Our bouncy seat, my boppy and other things. Also sold our swing..it was the only thing I wanted to get some money back on. I figure if we have another child in the future we will end up buying a much smaller swing anyway since that one was just to big.

Now we are going through closets and cleaning and sorting.

Anyoen else?

I've started, too. I am actually having a really hard time getting rid of Colette's newborn stuff, like her bouncy seat! It hasn't been used in months and was barely used when it was...but it seems like the end of an era! Because we live in under 700 sq ft, stuff has got to go!

The one good thing is last week our refrigerator broke so we had to get a new one. I'd been putting off cleaning it out and then I didn't have to! Now I just have to keep the new one cleaned out.

Oh yes, it was hard getting rid of the things but at least I knew I was helping someone else out. Lil Jimmy cried for 30 minutes after the lady left with the swing!!!

We are in the same boat...our house is 900 Sq Ft....so any extra clutter really shows up!!!

i tend to 'spring clean' at different times throughout the year....i'm a bit anal that way, lol....overall i think we're doing pretty well but i'm sure there are a few things that could still go....one thing i do plan to do soon is organize paige's stuff (paperwork, cards, basically anything that i want to keep in a file), i figure if i start it early i'll likely keep things organized as she gets older, and i won't be looking back in five years thinking why didn't i do this sooner?! i know how stuff can pile up when it comes to kiddies!

Spring cleaning for me means washing the walls and windows. Everything else gets done regularly. Im very anti-clutter so it never builds up...everything has a place and it goes there..daily if necessary. I go through clothes every season and donate what we dont wear to goodwill, or friends. Im lucky enough to have an enormous basement, everything we dont use regularly, but still need/want to keep, gets stored down there in marked rubbermaid totes. I have packed away all of Joels things that he can no longer wear/use and I will give them to the first person that I know that needs them, whenever that time comes.

We are moving in July so I'm getting rid of as much as possible to keep our moving costs down (going from PA to TX isn't cheap!) It is hard to get rid of all the baby stuff.

I did go through our closets and got several bags of clothes from DH and I for Goodwill, as well as quite a few pairs of shoes. I still have to go through our tupperware since about every 6 months we seem to have a hideous mismatch of lids to containers LOL. DH has to clean his workshop and I'd like to organize my books but otherwise that's it! (oh and the yard needs raking and clean up.)

I just went through mine and Allison's clothes. I have hers boxed up and in storage under the house. I donated mine. We still have a lot to do, though.
