We're going away to my Grandmother's (my Mom's mom) for Easter and leaving Friday morning. It's gonna be great, my Mom will be there too, so we can get a 4 generations picture...all girls

The trip normally takes about 6-7 hours, so I know for sure it's gonna take longer. I'm still BFing, and Danica is not to keen about bottles. So we'll have to stop every now and then to nurse (DH calls them "boob stops") and to let her stretch out of the carseat.

Any tips on taking trips with babies? Anything I should remember to bring? (Besides LOTS of diapers, pack n play and clothes?)

If she sleeps well at night, I suggest driving at night. Works so well with our girls.

I agree with Paula.

I would make sure you take some comfort stuff for her as well.

Good Luck

Can't wait to hear all about it.

The night idea is a good one...except DH has horrible night vision...so I would have to drive the whole thing and I hate driving on the big highways (going down the 401 in Ontario, through Toronto).
