my 7 year old niece is sick and has been so pushy about wanting to hold my baby and whining like crazy cause i wont let her. She put her hands on the baby like "UGH!" like "im gonna touch her anyways." kind of thing. (I love her to death this was weird behavior for such a good girl though) so now I am sick and if Neta gets sick im going to be pissed!!!

I'd be mad too, but I'd be more mad at her parents for allowing it.

I would be mad also. Could you say something to the mom??

I hope Neta doesn't get sick.

I'm sorry but wanting her to not get sick is not 'sheltering her'! I don't get people...they think it's ok to touch babies that don't belong to them and call us overprotective when we freak. WE'RE the ones that have to take care of that baby if they get sick. Ugh...

i agree, it's definitely not smothering... no mother wants her babies to get sick.
