now that most of our babies are rolling, how do you find them in the morning? I put Catie down on her back in the middle of the crib. I find her on her stomach toward the bottom of the crib LOL!

Also just have to say yesterday i put Cate to bed without swaddling, and it went better than i thought! Yes!! Put her to bed at 8:30 and she woke up at 2:30am and 4:30am to nurse. Up for the day at 7:10am. The last time we tried to go swaddle free she was waking every hour or 2, so glad it went so well.

We still swaddle Abby, she just can't seem to fall asleep without it. She hates being on her belly though, so I'm sure she'd stay on her back.

LOL Wow, now that's determination! I don't want to rush her into unswaddling. We moved her to her bed about 2-3 weeks ago, from the swing so I want to take "baby steps" so we don't disturb her good sleeping patterns.

Kadence scoots to the side of the crib and sleeps on her side where she manages to get both legs and at least one arm out the bars with her face mashed up against one bar. She usually cries when she wakes up and I'm guessing it's because her legs and arms are asleep. She does it every single night. If she rolls to her belly on accident she screams til we roll her back over.

NO rolling here ... she hates to be on her tummy !

BUT ... she scoots now and we have found her sideways in the crib !

She usually likes to sleep on her side for naps ... it is so cute ... she starts
on her back and grabs her blankie and rolls on her side pulling the corner of
the blanket in front of her face.

Have you tried those mesh bumpers on the crib? They can't suffocate on those and that would probably keep her from getting her arms and legs through the bars.

Jillian sleeps with me in my arms so she has no choice but to stay the way I put her. She seems to like sleeping on her side though and will stay that way when she falls asleep nursing laying in bed.

Danica is almost always exactly where and how I put her down, on her back. If she moves at all it's just up a little from kicking her legs around.

wow surpised to learn a lot of babies here don't like being on their bellies. My daughter Madisyn was a belly sleeper too. I'd put her to sleep on her back and in the morning I'd find her on her belly.

For most of the night, she is a belly sleeper - always has been - and doesn't move much. For naps, it depends - she'll fall asleep on her back - sometimes with her legs propped up on the bars...its the funniest thing to see!

Catie took a 3 hour nap today!! On her back that nap would have only been 20-30 minutes. Put her on her belly and she sleeps and sleeps.

Xander still doesn't roll over on a consistent basis. He is in the same position every morning.
