Anyone else's baby enjoy making fake coughing noises. So remember a couple weeks ago when I told you about Tegan gasping for fun. Well that entertained her for a couple days until it stopped getting a reaction from us. Now she has figured out a new one. She coughs to get attention...like really obviously fake coughs and then looks at us. Part of me wants to laugh and the other part worries that if she plays these games at 6 months what is she going to be like as a teenager !!!

LOL!!!! I thought my LO was the only one! LOL!! She started doing it last week. Everyone was saying she's faking it, don't worry. but she kept doing it so I thought maybe she was really sick. But you could really tell it's a fake cough! It's so funny! I laugh. She doesn't do it as much now. Only every now and then. Our silly girls!

Reagan's new favorite thing is a really high-pitch squeal to get our attention. I would rather the fake cough!!

Our 5 year old loved to fake cough when he was baby and he just never stopped. We were at Walmart once when he was a little over 1 and we were checking out. We just ate before we went there and he was being really silly and fake coughing. He did it so much that he made himself puke all over the floor, our groceries on the checkout thing, the cart. It was hilarious! It's still one my funniest memories of him. So watch that fake coughing after she eats!!

Addison does it and smiles and giggles while she does it !
If you do it back to her she keeps going and she smiles even more.

I usually lurk- just wanted to comment. At our last dr's appt the end of March the dr said that babies will start to do the social cough at this age to get attention. I had been wondering why Christian was coughing a lot but not really sick coughing and that's what she said. I think it's so fun when they start learning about cause and effect... they cough and they get attention.
