Abby fell asleep while DH was rocking her lastnight so we didn't swaddle, we just laid her down in her bed and she did great. Slept all night, like normal and woke up smiling.
So, no more swaddling for us either. Makes me sad my last little baby isn't a little newborn anymore.
It's always bittersweet when one more thing makes them a little more grown up. I'm glad it went well though. I'm glad I haven't had to ever go through breaking that habit. For some reason neither of my kids really liked being swaddled.
Kayla never liked to be swaddled. Emily was swaddled until maybe 3 months, not very long if I remember correctly. Abby loved it! She'd get tired and we'd get the blanket, lay her on it and she'd put her arms down just waiting for it. lol
