Do you have space for LO to play?
Any play equipment they use? Or hoping to get some?
Do you have patio furniture? What does it look like?
Anyone worried about bugs/bees/ticks, etc?
Please share pictures if you can!

Our house sits on 1 of 3 lots we have with it. It's a lot of "yard" but it's not fenced so that kind of sucks. It's grassy and Hunter loves to crawl around it! No patio furniture, yet... I plan to get something soon. I'm not too worried about bugs, there's grass spiders but they're harmless and we just come inside before the mosquito's come out to play! We have a swingset (not set up yet though) and a bunch of outdoor toys. Nothing too baby-friendly though, Dh and I were talking about getting Hunter something for outside for his b-day.

our current house is on 20 acres, weedy and muddy!! We have a small yard in front with a stone wall around it and a picnic table, but over the winter the gophers totally destroyed it. Here's what we saw when the snow melted:
We raked it flat so you can't see the dirt trails anymore, but I don't know if the grass will grow back to cover it or not. Anyway we are moving at the end of May so I don't care!!!
Our new house has a smaller fenced yard. Since it's in a pine forest, there are pine needles everywhere (no grass). There's a nice sized deck in the back and a covered porch in the front so I think we'll probably get some nice patio furniture. DH wants to make Will a sandbox too, so that will be fun.

Do you have space for LO to play? Not really Our town home has a super tiny back yard. And we have a huge shed that takes up like half of it.
Any play equipment they use? Or hoping to get some? We have a sand box but I'm giving it to my in laws because it's so big. I wish we had room for a swing set
Do you have patio furniture? What does it look like? We have the basic plastic chairs. No table
Anyone worried about bugs/bees/ticks, etc? I'm worried about wasps. Even though we have sprayed, I can't control what comes over the fences because others let nets grow.

We have a little over 2 acres, so plenty of room for her to play outside. We have a swing for her right now, but my moms friend is giving us a playset thing for her. And my mom is going to build her a sandbox in our yard for her birthday.
We just built a patio in our yard last fall, but no furniture yet. I'm still trying to pick a set to buy. Carly will be getting her own little table and chair set from my mom for the patio.
I'm VERY worried about ticks and wasps. We actually have a major wasp issue right now and pest control came last week but said they can't do anything until they actually build their nest

We have 10 acres and most of it's grassy. It used to be a tobacco farm so now that they don't grow tobacco in Maryland anymore the fields have just grown over and get mowed...
My MIL gave us a little playset with a slide and sandbox and that's right out back in a fenced in portion. We don't have patio furniture but have a big screened in porch where we have stuff. Michael plays there a lot.
There is everything to worry about here. I picked an engorged tick off the dog the other day. I have poison ivy on every single part of my body right now...hornets, bees, snakes, mosquitos, etc. But it's not bad. Personally I LOVE it....but my last house consisted of needles, drugs and prostitutes so my hazard outlook is a little different. lol.
Here are some pics:

Do you have space for LO to play? For a suburban backyard we have a decent amount of space.
Any play equipment they use? Or hoping to get some? I've got a sand/water table, a Little Tikes climber and picnic table out there right now. We also have a large Little Tikes inflatible bouncer that we set up for Mak when we're out there. I'm hoping to buy the girls a wooden play structure.
Do you have patio furniture? What does it look like? We have a patio table and chairs and just put a 10 x 12 gazebo up 2 weeks ago. We're putting up a deck this spring and it'll house the gazebo, BBQ, a patio area and play area.
Anyone worried about bugs/bees/ticks, etc? Nope
Please share pictures if you can!
Here's a photo from last summer
Here's a photo from Easter. Can't wait for the new deck and to finally get around to doing some landscaping.

Do you have space for LO to play? We have a pretty decent size suburban yard. The nice thing is that it's fully fenced, although the white picket fence fell over this winter and we have to replace it.
Any play equipment they use? Or hoping to get some? We have some outdoor toys and a little house, but I want more for them. We also have a canopy like Nicole has.
Do you have patio furniture? What does it look like? No, and we need some!
Anyone worried about bugs/bees/ticks, etc? Ticks are not prevelant in our area. I am not too worried about anything else.
Here are some pics of our house from last year:

Do you have space for LO to play?
Not a good area. Our property is an acre but when summer hits, no one has a good outdoor area for children to play due to the extreme heat.
Any play equipment they use? Or hoping to get some?
No, but we are planning on putting grass in next year. We'd also like to be able to fence the yard as well.
Do you have patio furniture? What does it look like?
We have a gazebo area with a brick BBQ area and a glass top table and chairs. We keep the chairs in the porch unless we are going to be outside otherwise they would be dust/dirt covered and sun damaged.
Anyone worried about bugs/bees/ticks, etc?
We have snakes (all kinds including deadly ones), bob cats, gophers, field mice, rabbits, stray feral cats, pack dogs, coyotes, scorpions, spiders, biting flies, bee's (which there seems to he a huge number of migrating thru this area right now), and every other biting or stinging creepy crawly creature you can think of...and occassionally one of these things will find its way in the house to meet its own certain death. A friend who lives down the street from us had a mountain cat that she believes was a mountain lion on her property after her goats during the day. That really scares me.
