When you go out, do you still carry your LO in the carrier? Or do you take baby out?

Bailey's seat is starting to become a PITA to carry, but it is so much quicker to leave her in it for short trips, like taking thomas to preschool . Plus I can't get Collin out of the van without taking out her car seat

Whats everyone else doing?

It's so heavy for me to carry that way. I just told DH over the weekend I'll probably start taking her out. In June, Em will switch to a booster and Abby will switch to Em's carseat.

most of the time i still carry her in the infant carrier, or i'll attach it to the carseat. There have been once or twice that i just carried her without the seat.

She goes from house to car and back again in it. Other than that I just take her out of it.

I'm thinking about putting his big boy car seat in. The only thing holding me back is when we are shopping and out to dinner. I'm not sure how he will do in a shopping cart or high chair with out a high back.
What do you do with your LO when out with out the carrier?
How do your LO's do?

We still use it all of the time. When we all go to the store we put her in the cart in her seat (in the basket part not the seat part up top). If it's just me taking the kids to the store I wear her.

If we go somewhere like the mall I still snap it onto the stroller. She loves that because it faces me so she can see me the whole time.

I put Abby in the cart at the store and she LOVED it. She sat fine and loved sitting and looking all around.
Haven't done a highchair when we're out yet. When we went to dinner, we took her bumbo and put her in that right on the table. The waitress loved it! lol

We have it in my car as a back up ...
She fits ... but doesn't like it ... doesnt like being folded in half !

We have her Britax convertable seat in Daddy's car

We carry her in and out and us the stroller if we are going anywhere

However ... we just got our ERGObaby - baby carrier - back pack carrier in the mail.
We got the very cool tropical print along with the changing pad
We aren't tiny people and NOTHING would fit us.

This has an extender and it works WONDERFULLY !!

Can't wait to use it to walk her along the beach !
