Last year was the 1st year since I was a kid I wore a bathing suit (one piece that looked like a dress, really showed off my belly ) but this year I wont have a pg belly just a chubby belly, so I am dreading beach time and we go to the beach a couple times a week usually. I don't know if I am going back to shorts and T's or stick with what I have.
What type of suit do you were? How do you deal with "imperfections" I really want to keep my belly covered, but dont want to see the rolls like in a one piece, and I like the skirt/shorts to cover my upper thighs. I can't do a tankini w/ shorts due to the fact I can't ever seem to find one long enough to cover my muffin top

I have a 2 piece but the top is long to cover my belly. I have one with shorts and one with just bottoms but I don't have an issue with my legs or butt. I don't like showing my belly, never did, not even as a kid.
I wear a two piece too, but I wear a swim shirt so no one ever sees my belly. I worry more about my butt, so I usually wear shorts. I've never been comfortable in a swimsuit even though I've been a runner since I was 12. They just aren't fun to wear.
I haven't owned a suit since 1999. Then I had a vintage suit that covered everything and I loved it. Unfortunately it burned in my parents house fire. Since then I've just worn shorts and a wifebeater. I hate swimsuit shopping more than the act of wearing one. Those horrible mirrors and florescent lights make me shudder.
rouching, like the sides are scrunched. it looks terrible on me.
SIGH i used to wear bikinis all the time but my post pregnancy belly is not one for that anymore. It looks terrible. But there are so many one pieces that have control tops and are very sexy in their own right by covering up as well. I am looking for a one piece currently. they have great ones that have all the control top bells and whistles at TJ Maxx kinds of stores.
LOL no bathing suits here.. I have huge scars on my legs and a hole like scar on my stomach and huge stretchmarks on my thighs... yeaa wayy too self conscious.. I will pass.. I've only worn one once in the last 8 years and that was at a hotel in FL where the pool area was pretty dead and only people I will never see again.. even then I hated it..
I have always been a bikini girl, but I am waaaaaay to self conscious to wear one this year w/o something over it. We wakeboard and do watersports a lot, so I will prob wear a tankini top and short board shorts.
