Bailey woke up at 8:30 nursed, then played like she usually does. Usually she is content til 10:30-11 when she takes a booby nap. Today, well from 9:30ish and still now, she is fighting nursing but is hungry. I can tell. She latches on for a minute then pulls off crying, latches back on, pulls off, cries, over and over again. I try giving up and just holding her, only works for a few minutes until she is reaching for or rooting at my breast again. I am so tempted to just make her a bottle, but I won't.

No matter where she is floor, swing, exersaucer, sitting or standing on my lap, walking around in my arms, she is just fussing. It doesn't help every time I do get her content, Collin comes over and starts messing with her. I don't think I can make it until bedtime today.

HUGS! That is really frustrating when you know they are hungry, but wont nurse. It would nice if they could just tell us what they want.

Can you get a scene change and go for a walk or something to distract her, then try again in a little bit? Being outside usually snaps Levi back into himself. I hope today gets better!

I finally caught a break. She napped (well in my arms on the boob) for an hour and forty five minutes. Of course my poor boys had to be neglected for a bit Thank goodness for spongebob and fairly oddparents. The played and watched tv in their room the whole time. I may not be able to walk through the room right now but at least the behaved and didn't fight or yell the entire time. I hope that she was just over tired.

i'm glad she got a nap in!

i think echo is either going through a growth spurt or teething. poor girl is not having a good time. she's sleeping in my lap on my boob right now.

I'm glad you got a bit of a break. Days like that can really be tough. She may be teething.

Sounds like teething to me - you could try to give her something for the discomfort before nursing... Like a cold teething ring, teething tablets, etc.? Hope today is better!
